Through collaboration and innovation, our IS professionals lead the frontier in caring for our community. The Epic Beaker Analyst will join a team supporting both Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP), helping our lab teams optimize workflows. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in build and configuration related to Epic Beaker and familiar with both lab instrument interfaces and HL7 interfaces.
Responsibilities include:
- Participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains.
- Designs, builds and tests system configuration.
- Translates business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conducts quality reviews of system builds.
Position Pay Range: $46.88-$70.33/hour
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state. Requirements
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Ability to obtain Epic Beaker Certification/Accreditation within 6 months of hire or 90 days after last class
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Has led small projects or technical activities.
- Business acumen in functional area. Bachelors degree
- Lab experience
